Well i finally saved enough to trade in my 2003 Z a/t for a 6 speed. The thing is mine is a 2003 Touring model and the car i want to trade it in for a 2004 enthusiast model. Mine has 74,500 miles and the enthusiast has 62,899 miles and they want $15,995 for it. I still owe like $12500 on my car. They are both chrome silver paint but the enthusiast is stock and mine has a nismo wing on mine and some brand new toyo proxes4 on the tires. Do you guys know if the dealer could swap out my trunk and wheels and stuff to the enthusiast model if i buy it? I'm just hoping they don't try to rip me off with my z just because it has 12,000 more miles on it. I just want an equal trade in and would pay up to $1,500 difference. Another question is the guy asked me how much am i willing to down payment.

I wouldn't rush into it. You could sell your Z for 16,000 easily. Ebay, Craigs list, yahoo auto, auto trader, will all let you sell your car for more than 16. Then spend those 16 on your six speed. But the very first thing you want to do is pay off your car.

lol thats the way it always is. But you know you are in no position to buy a car while you are still paying off your own. Youll wind up getting stuck with both cars and i might be generous enough to take one off of your hands for you

I really doubt any legitimate dealership would change the hatch, the wheels I think they would be willing to do but unfortunatley I don't think they'll give you in trade what you owe on your car

On a base model '03 a/t with 75,000 miles the trade in value is $12,225 (considering it is spotless and well maintained).

erggggggg yeah its frustrating me. I'm going to lose alot of money if i trade it in and going back to stock. Noone ever did a transmission swap here ehh? I asked already but wanted to know if anyone here ever tried the 6 speed swap yet on their Z?
