Looks nice man. Even the engine compartment looks great, gotta love the polished valve cover, and sandblasted everything. I have to do that sometime. BTW, where are you in Connecticut, couldn't help but notice the plates . . . I'm stuck up here in Litchfield county, mostly a bunch of hicks and rednecks. ;-)

Need rims, better wing, kouki conversion and an sr20. And yes it certainly is different, not too bad though.

Nice and clean too, but try to stay away from apc.

That's funny that people are giving you compliments on your car. A couple months ago.. .someone found pictures of it... and posted them here. People ripped it apart. Mostly for the hood nostrils, Z3 look-alike fenders, and chrome rims.

Do a search... I can't remember the name of the thread, but I sure do remember the car... and some of the people that just said they liked it might have had a different opinion previously.

Another thing... what is with these cardomain people? All I ever see when someone links to a car there is, "Hey nice car man... go check out mine.... duh, and don't forget to vote on it!" Do people really need that kind of outside affirmation? Sorry to sound so harsh... but it looks like a bunch of high school ricers looking for attention. If you really want to get respect and admiration from true car-ENTHUSIASTS it would seem like a poor way to start out.

I applaud you for doing something different and something you like. I personally don't care to comment on it. If you are proud to drive that car, then OUR opinions shouldn't matter. If we told you we didn't like it... would you change it? If you hooked your car up like that for anyone's enjoyment other than your own, than you did yourself and the car a tremendous disservice.

Im not a big fan on the "F+F" look, such as the non-functional hood scoop, Z3 fenders(look! its on another ricer!) that are everywhere, or the big wing. BUt hey, its your car, and the paint job looks nice, as does the body work, even if I dont like it.-chet

I agree Chet. The comment I made about it on the previous thread that it appeared in was something to that effect. Regardless of my opinion about your style choices.... the body work is SUPERB! You guys did a hell of a job with the molding and paint (at least it looks good in the pics).

Poor 240sx is all I have to say. And that better not be a boost gauge in your A pillar.

Actually I'm the one who posted the topic a few months ago, but it was a totally different car, it really did look rediculous, it had FAKE dual exhausts and fire extinguishers, I mean come on. You can see pictures of it here.

Wow, looks like you put alot of time into your car. Good job man. And to all the people who dont like it- at least appreciate the effort put forth and respect the fact that everyone has their own tastes. Personally I think it looks mean as hell. Other than the rims, i would rock that beast.

Here you go THIS is the thread I was talking about. Unfortunately the link to the cardomain site is dead, but it is the SAME EXACT car that we have in this thread. Check out AZhitman's reply about them leaving the windows down while sanding.. the picture that comment refers to is in the pictures in this thread.

looks good bro, hood is kinda out there, but I see more rice going to the local starbucks- not too bad at all..... only thing I could say is some 17 or 18x8's with 225/45's would fill up those wheelwells nice. not bad interior, either.:) what are your future plans?

I'm not being an a$$hole Ninja.... I just think it's funny how people's opinions change depending on who brings the pctures here. I think you my have taken this a little too seriously. Sorry if you got your panties bunched up because of my posts.:rolleyes

I agree with Maine and couple other people. Your car is rice, completely and totally. It seems the ricer count here is growing steadily, and I don't like it. I haven't been here very long (August, in case you didn't look below my name) but when I first got here most everyone was an enthusiast concerned with performance, now that is changing, and as I said, I don't like it. However it is not my opinion that matters, it's your car man.

You spent ALL that money to make your car look like THAT?? Yeah, the hood scoops belong on a Trans Am...Z3 fenders look good on Z3s...why? Because of the design of the car and long fender/bonnet design, it ruins the design lines of your car. Z3 fenders belong on BMWs like altezzas belong on Lexus. The wing looks horrible...

Honestly, without the hood, fenders, and wing...That WOULD be an extremely clean 240, for real...

That is a whole other thread my friend!

But you are absolutely right. The recent influx of ricers to these boards if a little bothersome. Thankfully it is only in the 240sx general section... the rest of NICO seems to still be dedicated to performance and style... not fad and trend. Unfortunately it gives what used to be an enthusiast forum a bad reputation as a ricer forum. PLease note... I'm not crapping on your car n240...I admire your work and I appreciate the fact that you were able to build it to your liking. Unless... maybe you bought this car off the guy who did all that work.

Hey, maybe I'm just jealous that my car looks stock.... pfffttt yeah right!!! Sleeper till the end bro!!!! :D
