I made this for a friend this week. I decided to share it with you guys. We did a test fit and the wastegate cleared the mount yesterday. After he broke apart 2 eBay manifolds we decided to go a different route.

yes 304 can crack but this is Pipe that is 3.5mm thick not tubing like the cheap ebay manifolds or what a exhaust header would be made of.

how much would it cost to make that manifold but cyl 2,3 on the left side and cyl 1,4 on the right?

basically making it a twinscroll mani

Internal wastegates are usually built into the turbine housing of the turbo.

External wastegate is attached to the exhaust manifold.

i understood that part of it...but im wondering performance wise

ive also heard about people welding shut there internal and making it ext...how does someone go by doing that, and is it safe

I think the biggest advantage of this is that the wastegate causes les turbulence in the exhaust, thus resulting in better flow through the exhaust and easier spooling of the turbo, correct me if im wrong though.

im not sure if a twin scroll is possible with the space limitations. ill take some measurements and let you know

it does allow forless turbulence but the main issue is the smaller internal gates can only regulate so much pressure at a certain point for better boost control you will need a larger valve to allow for better control of the exhaust gases
