Since I'm in the process of pulling and rebuilding my engine already I was considering getting the 8.6:1 sohc pistons (for my 94 dohc) and the altima intake cam. My question is will just running 93 octane be enough to prevent detonation with the 11:1 CR? Should I up the fuel pressure (walbro and bigger FPR), or would i need bigger injectors. I know an safc would be ideal but I'm just looking for some cheap power to tide me over till i graduate and do a RB swap. Has anyone here even done this mod?
