Took this while waiting for my car to warm up. Just thought it was a neat angle.

Yeah they are the stock tag lights. I know nothing about LED's and there are two many options out there. It would look nice, but don't you need resistors or something to run LED's without problems?

Id like to know as well. Is there a How-To or something about what to buy and how to install the LEDs. Id like to do the tag light as well as the interior lights.

No resistors needed....just buy 2 white led bulbs and replace the old ugly license plate bulbs.

Guys, most online stores have LEDs specifically for automotive applications...y'know, plug 'n play. There's a sticky on it somewhere in here about bulb types for our cars. When you know what types you need, head over to eBay or v-leds and purchase what you need. They already come transistored so there's really no technical know-how required.

I put in a set of 194 Supernova's in white that I bought at autolumination.com. I've bought most of my led's from them and they all work great. $7.99 each. I've got these as plate leds and the rear parking light too (red ones for these). The install is literally 5 minutes tops and looks so much better.

Go to this page and search for supernova: http://autolumination.com/194.htm

Here's the side by side compare:

If you have any other questions or anything feel free to shoot me an email.

edit - ugh that reminds me i need to find some plain plate holders, my advertising days are done for now.

i realized you also asked about more than just the plate leds, so here's the quick rundown:size 194: plate light, rear parking, puddle, map, front parkingsize 921: reversesize 31/36mm festoon (either size works): domesize 3157: brakesize 3156: front and rear turn

the only ones that need inline resistors are the turn signals, everything else works with no mods.
