CHATROOM: Rear wheel hub & bearing replacement

I just dropped off my 2011 Rogue to replace the rear wheel bearings. I have about 102,000 miles and starting hearing rumbling noise from the rear about seven months ago. While doing a break job last week, they discover the wheel bearing problem. Like many, I have never had this problem with a modern vehicle and I've driven many of them in the upper 200K and some over 300K miles. This is not a cheap repair.

let m guess, you heard a CLUNK over minor bumps? i too am hearing it lately, and i know what i am facing.

thankfully i do all my own work. on ebay you can buy a rear hub for under $69, shipped to your door.
