The On Board Charger (OBC) is one of my favorite devices and is designed to operate on either voltage and with up to the maximum rated current for which it is specified. It is liquid cooled so with either voltage there is also sufficient thermal management in normal operation.
If running on 120vac mains, then the Power Factor Correction (PFC)/DC Boost sections of the OBC have to work a bit harder to boost the DC voltage up to the required level.
The output current of the OBC is about 10 Amps for the 3.3 or 3.6kW versions, and about 20 Amps for the 6.6kW version if you are lucky enough to have one of those.
The high power transistors used in the Laef are the same as those used in the Mitsubishi Miev, made by Nichicon, with lots of design similarity in the power board layout and components.
