Changing Your Gauge CLuster Color

I remember seeing a thread talking about changing the color of your gauge cluster. I remember that it said it would be very very difficult and time consuming to do. Would this make it any easier?

Personally I think this way would be even harder then just buying a premade kit. You still have to get into your dash to do this just like with the prebuilt ones. Only now you are talking about having to solder small LEDs onto circuit boards instead of popping in a prefabricated unit.

Just my opinion.

Ic. I dont know much about that kinda stuff i just thought id throw it out there. Hey do they make battery operated LED'S i dont really want to wire and drill in my car, ill only be using the lights for the ashtray at night.

I'm sure you can find stuff like that out there if you google for it. I have this cool LED candle thingamabobber that my friend go me that plugs into what looks like a cross between a D battery and a 9-volt and it cycles through all the different colors.

lol, no, but I was just saying that there are battery operated LEDs out there.
