Changing the fuel pump

I'm changing the fuel pump in my 94 Q45. I can't get the fuel pump assembly out because there is a large plastic box attached to the rear deck that's in the way. I know the box is screwed in place but I can't figure out how to get to the screw heads. Does anyone know how to remove the box before I cut the darn thing out of there!!:help
