Does anyone have info regarding changing the two drive belts on the I30? I don't have a shop manual, and I heard there might be some "tricks to the trade" when it comes to changing the belts.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Bill

Shop manual and TSB are available for download at http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/infiniti/ for a one day subscription.

Othere than that, I would say check the idlers and us only OEM belts from Joe (to your left at http://www.infinitipartsusa.com).

on the outer belt once you have it changed and adjusted after you tighten the lock nut for the adjuster. snug the adjuster up a little more so it doesthread back down from engine vibration.

the other trick is getting to the 14mm p/s pump bolt from the transmission side of the pump. it is on the bottom of the pump. what you need is a very long extension with a woble 14mm socket. you run the extension over the crossmenber from the trans side. this is the easiest way to get on it and have enough leverage to brake it loose and resecure it.
