CD PLAYER JAP??? know how fix?

Does anyone else have this small gap around the cd player after installing an aftermarket, does anyone know if i have the wrong size cd player, or if that is possible. My cd player is a JVC iso-din standard sized one.

this is just a guess, but could there be a trim ring that should've come with the cd player. My pioneer has a trim piece that snaps on to cover the gap you are talking about. Maybe you didnt get it in the box.

i bet it does. i put a jvc in my last 240, and it had a little gap but nothing to worry about. barely noticeable unless your staring at it.oh yea, its the right size, dont worry about it.

i have a huge gap around my clarion now, because the damn metal peice that holds it WILL NOT come off the stock stereo. i tried everything to get that off, but it wont budge, so now im going to go to a junkyard and get the brackets. or

maybe someone on here has a wrecked s13 and can donate the metal brackets to me?

Hey Lsnaple if the one guy still has his s13 i can get those for ya. He gave the car to his daughter for her birthday and 3 weeks later she totaled it. I tried to buy it from him before this but he said he couldn't. Oh well, if he still has it I will see if I can get those for ya, I will ask him tomorrow.
