The gopro video shot of you from the BMW should turn out nice. I have an in car video and another angle shot by my wife in the stands I need to edit into one.
Awesome! I'd really appreciate that! Whenever its ready...I'll keep trolling this thread till I see it pop up....

I showed my daughters the HD video that Jenn shot from the stands from Saturday and they were pretty psyched...I can't wait to share more!

You should probably ask Christine for those... Stacey wasn't even looking at me while I was shooting (and therefore they look kinda crappy).

Next year I'm splitting the drive into two days or taking Amtrak. I felt like a zombie the entire weekend.

I may be getting old. :ohno:

Driving that Firebird was a hoot. It was like a 60s muscle car wrapped in kicka** 80s sheetmetal. I wanted to pop in a Jan Hammer tape and go cruising somewhere on the coast.

I walked into this part, got about a third of the way through, and had to GTFO. Unfortunately the mob of zombies behind me forced me to walk all the rest of the way through, past the smoke machines and seizure inducers.

I'm not into custom car shows, nor am I into motorsports at all (I know, that's like going to a barbecue as a vegetarian).

I show up merely to socialize.

I think the reality is, those of us who have the most fun at these events are there for the same reason. Heck, that's why I don't care if I fly have the time and don't have my car. It's not about the cars, it's about the the people.

It's funny, the Carlisle event has turned into an interesting dichotomy...

The riced-out, 1996-styled, gaudy, non-functional "show cars"....

...and us. :)

Hey guys

Thought I'd finally make an appearance.
What an awesome weekend. You guys are definitely worth the 3 hour drive.
Good to see old faces. Great meeting new ones.

I'll add to B's pic collection shortly. He's got all my Satruday pics up already.

Oh yeah, Consequence Connect 4. My boobie is finally healed up.
Can't wait for next year.

The sil-camino was also mine. Was supposed to be doing alot more sideways stuff than it did, but it worked well to move tires around. I'll have the bugs worked out in it by next years event.
