Was the NICO track 240 there? Why haven't I heard anything new about that thing?

Who is Brian Lohnes? I hope he actually comprehends that NONE of the cars in the "show" area were our people.

p.s. What if "that guy" is me? I'm easy to find.

p.s. Someone needs to post a link to this thread in response. :) It's notable that we were actually tracking our cars, while no one from the forum he link to would get on the track.

They DID have a little "purse dog" on a leash and some bitchin' lawn chairs. :rotfl

The real question is what does Mr. Lohnes drives? Is Mr. Lohnes the same punk who was too scared to participate at the track and decided to spend the day with ricers, then trying to badmouth NICO on "that other forum"?

*Sings* "cause the spotlight ain't nothing without you gerrl..." lol. I have a feeling there'll be more talks/discussion/bashing between NICO and "that other forum", so even more spotlight for you.

No, Brian Lohnes appears to just be a blogger who found the zilvia page humorous. Though, that doesn't explain why he didn't find the turtle idea as excellent as we all did. So no need to take shots at that guy. He doesn't appear to have any affiliation with zilvia, so he's probably ok. Maybe I'll register on that site and post a comment in a bit...

Yea, i read the entire article later and found out. And really who cares what he thought of the turtle idea? NICO found it funny/amusing and that's all that matters.

TBH, I found it funny and amusing and didn't care what NICO thought. No offense to any of you guys, but I tend to do dumb stuff because I want to. Though, there are clearly quite a few folks here who share a similar mindset and sense of humor, so it all works out well.

None taken. If you don't have the guts yourself to clown around, then you have no business even attempting to do so.

More proof that the internet is filled with cynical f***s. A stupid thread from zilvia gets tons of circulation to the point where some nobody like Brian Lohnes even writes about it, but the thread here at NICO filled with awesomeness and badassery goes unnoticed.

our thread was probably rummaged through, but since there really isn't anything to poke fun at, the other thread was used because it showcased the crap we're collectively against, and not interested in. if it weren't for the special olympics, i would have not left the paddock.

I'm completely ok with this, too. There are a lot of people not worth wasting time on in this world (so it stands to reason that they would populate a large portion of the internets). However, there is a seemingly high concentration of awesome people on NICO. I would fear with more circulation of our amazing time we would attract some of the douche-nozzle population, and I don't want them coming in here (at least not in large numbers, every now and again it's fun to flame one of those tools). :)

I thought the thread on Z was funny as hell. The guy who posted it is brilliant.

However, I've gotta ask, again: For a forum full of allegedly badass drivers, why did none of them hit the track? Two Z members were there - hard parking. Cool guys from what I could tell, but they completely excluded themselves from the shenanigans. Kind of a bummer.

They might have messed up their stickers with the cones out on the track Greg.

Then they'd loose at least 15 HP.

At least these people had the guts to show their cars, and the NICO members had the balls to track theirs. It's not the locals fault they live disconnected from the rest of the scene...
Hey hey, not all the local crowd is still stuck in the world of the fast and the furious. Unfortunately there weren't more of us on the track. Fortunately most of these cars aren't ever driven around here.
