Oh man! Yeah, i definately didn't find a code on the door where i found the date, all I saw was like numbers and stuff for like the tire pressure or something and something for the rims. Besides that i didn't see anything that resembled a code to me other than my vin number. Unless i completely looked past it without knowing it. But i'll check again...i'll let u know if i find it. I'm about to write all the numbers and everything off there and just relay it to u!:D

it should be a letter along the bottom of the label. it may be under the hood on a metal plate the has model and everything on it. but your looking for a letter like k or g or c. something along those lines. its a single letter.

...Alright, i looked under the hood because i couldn't find it by the door. It was on the plate thing, and it said Color/Trim: something something/K. I don't remember what the something something was, but the letter was K.:D

Yes, grey interior. But there is something that i keep forgetting to ask you about...what about the wood on my door? It isn't flat, it i guess you could say, also has a curve to it like my center console. If you don't understand what i am talking about i will try to explain it better or get a picture up here of it. But if you do know what i am talking about, how am i supposed to cover that? The wood will show on the sides also. You know, everything is a project with this car, nothing ever works for me.

try to take some snap shots of your entire package. and i will check with an after market source we use to do some of the lot cars to determine if a total kit is available for your options package. obviously my parts guy fell through on this . he claims the nissan rep hasent got back to him yet. to be honest i dont think hes ever gonna get an answer. sorry for the length of time this is taking to get you an answer.

Alright, i'll take lots of pictures! But my sister has the digital camera, so i am probably gonna have to wait till i get my film developed. And don't worry about it taking a long time, it hasn't been that long, and besides you are doing a great favor for me! Thanks again!

ok the peice around the radio will swap direct with a 2001 pathfinder with auto select 4x4 then you could apply the carbon fiber kit to it. the power switch covers on the doors will also need to be swapped with a path part. then have the carbon kit added.the swith bezel can be replaced independant of the switches. for the color code to order for the peices. i would match them to the bezel around your speedo cluster if its gray go with trim code k if its black go with which ever code is for charcoal.

Niiccee! So the center piece is exactly the same as the 2001 Pathfinders?! I thought that the air controls were rounded on the ends, but hey if it fits i'm not gonna ask questions! But what do u mean by the power switch covers on the door, u mean the wood thing or the window and lock controlls? Alright, i think i know what ur talking about, but i just wanna make sure. I read it again, but I wanna do this right the first time, u mean just the cover, the wood thing i think. Well thank you so much for all the help, i can't wait to do this!

yes the wood grain pieces are all replace by all non wood grain peices. the switches unscrew from the wood grain peices on the doors. I priced the peices for a 2001 the main peice around the radio area is retail 80 bucks and each of the door peices is 40 bucks a piece. thats list prices from a nissan dealer. you could probably get a set from a wreaker much cheaper. as far as i can tell your heater controls look the same as a 2001 2002 pathfinder. just remember you have to get it for a pathfinder with the same 4x4 selector you have in your QX4 or it wont fit around that area. also when you buy the carbon fiber kit you need to buy it for the same yr pathfinder as the parts you bought.

the vents are different and are a seperate peice had both vehicles in the shop today both a 2001 pathfinder and a 98 QX4 the QX4 had the woodgrain kit . it had minor differences like the auto select switch was smaller and the door peices were longer but the main dash peice looked exactly like yours . when compared to a 2001 I found the vents are actually a seperate piece. Just thought i would update you.

Thanks for the update! So if the door pieces are longer, i will have to leave those alone i assume? I've been in pathfinders before but never really paid any attention to those pieces in particular. Oh man.:( I'll figure out something if they don't fit.

cool the rims should be a much easier task to accomplish. sorry to hear you havent found that carbon fiber kit. every time a 98 or 99 QX4 comes in I take note of the radio bezel..lol still havent seen any carbon kits or other then wood grain kits on them. keep my posted and to coin a phrase "enjoy the ride"

Hey NISTECH, I have found something that I would like you to look at. While looking on ebay i found a QX4 that didn't have wood around the radio and all that stuff there. I have never before seen a QX4 without wood there. But my boyfriend said that if we could get a hold of those peices that he would customize it to fit my car. Here is the pic... ...and here is a picture of the arm rests... I hope this can work!!!Let me know what you think. I mean i know it's not my color interior, but i'm sure i could find one that matches mine.;)

the dash set up is what the problem was with the pathfinder parts. see how its 2 peices one is the vent and the other is the radio bezel. the vent ducting behind it is different. it would just about require removal of the dash to change the ducting to match up with the vent. the door problem can be resolved with the pathfinder components but not really worth it if you cant do the radio area. the QX4 in that picture is an 02 right? the radio bezel is alot different then what you currently have to. that only has the navi unit and the heater controls are incorperated into it. If you think your boyfreind can take on partial dash removal he could replace the inner ducting to match the set up on a pathfinder and you could get the 01 pathfinder bezels to work.

Hmmm. i'll ask him about the duct thing, truthfully i didn't think about it in too much depth. But he's already done some things that has amazed me, he's good with stuff like that. I will definately ask him about it though. I figured i'd ask you about it first before i started to think about it too hard because I would get too excited. :pface Thanks so much, i'll keep u updated.

I am soooo happy! My boyfriend and i were searcing his Sentra forum yesterday for a carbon fiber kit for his car, and we found this place that will "dip" your interior pieces!(as long as their smooth) So i can send out my door pieces, and my center piece! The end result also looks great! I am going to get some prices, and go to a junkyard and get my exact pieces to have "dipped", because from my understanding it takes a couple of weeks, and i don't want to drive around with my interior pieces missing for too long!:D I will keep you all updated.
