Car Trouble???

My 1992 240sx will not start when the air mass meter is pluged in. When i unplug it the car will run for a second or two if I hit the gas it dies. I got the codes from the ECU the first code was one slow blink with two fast ones and the second was three slow and four fast. If anyone knows what it could be please let me know.

your geting code 12 and 34

i think 12 is maf and i know 34 is knock sensor,

did your car used to drive okaY? when did it start acting up?

It was running great and then all of a sudden with no warning it just wouldnt start anymore...by the way whats a knock sensor and where can I find it i the engine?

34 can go off if it barely starts or not at all, even w/o knock. esp if it misfires badly

12 can happen also if over/underfueling very bad i.e. dead FPR or pump, in additino to MAF and MAF wiring issues.

I'm guessing he mistook CA for Canada, that is if he doesn't actually have a CA.

Is this 240sx powered by a KA24DE or by a CA18DET? Please let me know so that I can move this if nessicary.

Start with by checking the wiring to your AFM and if that doesn't help, check and/oe change your AFM. This an engine specific forum "CA18DET" and if you do not have this engine under your hood, please search NICO for the forum that's specific to your engine code.
