Car stops while getting hot

Hello everyone

My car stops while getting hot. I've changed the power module. Starts when cool, but sometimes stops when pulling up in traffic and starts again. Sometimes stalls and gets towed.

At a loss. Any ideas on what's going on?

I'm also concerned about carbon build up in exhaust indicating fuel mixture. Any thoughts?

We're going to need a little more concise information on the behavior of the car at times when the fault takes place, also any codes your ECU may be producing, general state of the car, etc.

We definitely need more info and any ECU codes is the best start, but I will toss out a fairly decent idea given your comment of the rich mixture at the tailpipes- check your coolant temp sensor connector and the coolant temp sender connectors on the radiator hardpipes on the front of the engine, and both sensors as well. Failure here can cause the computer to run rich and possibly even more, and if not gives a good start in your search for the problem.
