Recheck the injectors, probably running rich. Also check fuel pressure and tank pressure, you may need a gas cap.

Not sure if its the same problem, but my s14 was leaning out when i stepped on the gas. Almost to the point it would die. make sure all you fuel lines are tight. You dont wanna suck air into you fuel system. Its good you checked injectors but there are several other places for this to happen. The clamp on the discharge side of my fuel filter was loose and sucking air into fuel and throwing off air/fuel ratio. Im lucky fuel didnt spray out and ignite. Sounds to easy but thats what my problem was. I aslo smelled fuel and was getting crappy MPG

i will look into that..That actually sounds more like it because it is running a little lean, and the injectors are fine. will give it a shot, and let yall know.

I know it causes the fuel smell and imagine if the ring is missing you would have fuel pressure problems or lack of fuel pressure?? something to think about!!!!

:wtf1: fuel pressure from a tank gasket ...are you kidding me? That's what a regulator does.

Thread cleaned, warning issued. Keep the fighting off here. If it were educated argumentative discussion about the topic then by all means, but not what was posted.

As for the O-Ring. Gas smell yes, problems not likely.
