What is you guys favorite car magazine? I used to subscribe to Hot Rod and Super Chevy (my Camaro was in Super Chevy once :) ).

My automotive taste has somewhat changed. Which do you think is best? Car and Driver or Road and Track?

The only way a Mustang can have muscle is if it punches on your punching bag!
:chuckle:

I really don't want a brand specific type magazine. I want to broaden my knowledge. I have said that my next car would be another Z, but I have also been thinking about (don't laugh) a Lexus IS or (and I know that SVT is going to give me Hell) If they would un-retro the Mustang, I might would look at one of those.

I might try the R&T. Thanks for the input.

I'm a long time Motor Trend subscriber, but I've found the journalistic _and_ design quality to be declining since Ed Loh took over from Angus MacKenzie as editor-in-chief. Angus was a dyed-in-the-wool old car guy, where Ed Loh seems more taken with glitz and flash.

Their track test reports remain top-notch, thanks in part to the involvement of Randy Pobst.

Do you see the same decline at MT as I do since Angus gave up the reins?

Becki, I'm really looking forward to the un-retro-ed 2015 mustang!!
Love the 5.0 and somewhat the exterior of the current, but can not get past that crappy interior!!!

not yet....just speculation. You can google 2015 mustang. Should be better handling with IRS (hopefully). Haven't seen anything of the interior, but anything is better than the retro crap! Would rather have the new Focus ST interior!

they say the new corvette is supposed to get an interior upgrade... finally! i would consider a corvette for my next car if its interior is up to par...

also if the mustang boss 302, charger srt8, camaro SS, or potiac G8 GXP had a better interior i might not be driving a G37. the G37 dose a great job of giving you both worlds at a decent price. i love american musule, but until they get out of this retro theming i probably will never own an american car again (besides my old jeep).

If Ford would build the AWD Fusion with the 6 cylinder EcoBoost turbo, I'd be driving American again. Or if GM would do the equivalent. I'm still not sold on Chrysler stepping up to the build quality issues.

I never cared for retro, either. I drove those cars back then, don't want one now.

Motor Trend, Car & Driver, Nissan Sport, Automobile, and Autoweek

I like the increased frequency of Autoweek, although the content isn't usually as good.
