Car looses power while driving

I bought this car a few months ago with the CA swap already in it so I have personally not done anything to the car.It has been running great until recently somebody tried to steal it by trying to take off the plastic around the steering column and unscrewing the ignition from the key holder and starting it with a screwdriver,they did not get very far before they realized that the steering wheel was locked without the key so they ditched it.I went to get it back and when I did some of the wires from the ignition touched the metal on the turn signal,and there was a big spark and I ended up needing to replace the fl30a fuse under the hood for the ignition.After that the car was back up and running but for some reason the sfac will not go off so I have been having to unhook the battery every time I stop so that it will not drain it.I have been doing this for a few weeks and the car was running fine,until in the last few days while I have been driving it will loose all power to the engine and will usually regain power after about ten seconds but some times I have to pull of and let the car stall before I can restart it and be on my way.The sfac still reads that I am stepping on the gas and it reads that there is still air flow while I'm loosing the power to the engine.Now today I can not get the car to stay running for more than five minutes before it stalls. Does anybody have any suggestions on where I should start looking to fix this problem,it is my primary car and I really need it back up and running ASAP,thank you.
