Car does nothing

I replaced the compressor in my 2005 Maxima and when I went to start it nothing happened. By nothing I mean the lights dont come on, the radio doesn't come on, the horn doesn't work, the door lock/unlock, the trunk release, anything electrical does not come on with the key in. The only thing it does is blink the security light and makes that beeping noise when you open the door with the key in. I've also noticed if I hit the lock button on the remote it blinks twice and if I hit unlock it blinks once.

I've checked all the fuses in the engine compartment next to the battery and the ones in the car, I don't know what else it could be. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks for the help, without your help I'd still be lost in the dark since I never really thought to check the battery terminals much less noticed a small fuse on them.

Have you inadvertently placed coins on the display screen area? There is a possibility that a coin has shorted out the Meter AC Amp. You have to take it to a dealership for further diagnostic.
