my throttle body for ca18det has two small coolant lines running to it, i already capped off the sources with coolant caps and covered nipples on tbody with vacuum caps, car will be running fri or sat, im just curious why they were there and what will be the side effects. having coolant run through and heat the tbody seems like a reverse intercooler and like its there for emissions/fuel mileage anyway, maybe cold starts too.

The idea was that it would prevent the throttle plate from frosting. It's essentially and old Nissan practice that hadn't died yet. Unless it gets REALLY cold where you're at, I wouldn't be concerned about it much, especially with a turbo motor.
