just wondering if you have had any trouble crossing the border in your GTR?

the reason im asking. My family has property in Windsor. I would like to get an R32 and register it to our Windsor address. Then drive it across to Detroit.

Since Ontario plates are more common than Ohio plates in Detroit, I technically shouldn't have a problem.

You shouldn't have a problem driving into the U.S. with foreign plates, regardless of the vehicle. Think about this, is anyone going to stop you driving an Xtrail into the U.S? No, so what's the difference. Neither are sold in the U.S.

Detroit cops would notice something like that pretty fast if you kept it there. Move to Windsor, and start drinking younger.
