Can someone recommend a shift knob?

Cheap, that is. Mine is torn up worse than you can imagine. I have a 92 SE and am kind of looking for the stock leather shift knob but may expand my horizons. I have the leather shift boot/ebrake thing but need a shift knob. I am looking for something tasteful, either black leather or aluminum or a combo of the two. What would you suggest? Any pics installed? The cheaper the better, not much more than it would cost to just get a used SE leather shift knob. Thanks.

Does anyone know if the thread size is universal for most Nissans? I hate the stock one... and when I test drove an SE-R spec-V I fell in love with the feel of the shift knob. The salesman said I could buy one for my 240 (we were test driving the car for my girlfriend at the time)... but I didin't think to ask if they were interchangable.

Im pretty sure they are interchangable, some people have 300z knob in their 240's.

I myself have the black leather shift knob, best money ever spent. Right away it felt like a short shifter because the stock shift knob is so freakin huge and heavy.

you can take off the leather part of the shift knob and underneath is the stock 240 shift knob with the gear gate icon. just cut the stitching and usee goo gone to get the glue off.

let me tell you guys one NOT to buy though.....MOMO Blue Crystal............ worst $60 I ever spent. It looks nice, but dosen't hold up for crap!

Check out theses shift knobs I found at this website. Auto Dynamic I bought RA-68 and I love it. It's black leather with red stitching. Pretty high quality and has a great solid feel to it. Razo stuff are still being made in Japan and not in China, so that's quite a surprise. Check out that site, you'll find some neat stuff.
