If I remember correctly the 95 is OBD1 and the 97 is OBD2. They will not work together correctly.

Yeah, you can do that. You can MAKE the 97 ECU work in the 95, but its not worth the trouble.

On a side note, does anyone know of any companies that make an OBDII to OBDI jumper? Like on Hondas?

95 and 97 240SX are both OBDII. The ECU swap *should* work.

You are wrong, the '95 ECU is OBDI.

Torry, until November of 1995 the ECU was still ODBI and used a grounded puls signal instead of the ODBII's inter-relay pulse signal.

But since all of the November and later 1995 240's were sold in Canada, this one is most likely ODBI.

You sound like you know more about it than I do, you have some documentation backing that up? I'm just curious, I'd be interested in seeing that.

If I am right, 95 and 96 are difference and 97-98 are the same, 3 different ECU in 4 years, but double check I might be wrong.

Personally, I would just swap intake and exhaust manifolds. That way you wouldn't have to buy anything else.
