join the army. they'll teach you how.
i just went for it. here are my suggestions.
start with a base color, the most common (my corolla above = white)next, take second most common, draw some smooth, eccentric shapes. be sure to cary them on to other panels and imagine them flowing from door to pilars and roof if possible. wraping around hood to fenders is also good. just make outlines, and modify them to your liking. they have to be of proper size and shape so take your time. to remember what area is what, i marked an X inside the outline with the appropriate paint.
fill in the outline.
third, highlight with a 3rd (or 4th) color that is least predominant in your scheme.
if you have an image in your head of what you want the outcome to be (most cammo jobs don't) then use these directions.
i will be changing my green to tan this summer as the green was really supposed to be a VERY light green. go krylon....
oh, don't clear it. and be ready for the attention.
taken by a fellow club4ag'r, pretty random!
