2001 Qx4 putting in new struts, lift spacers, control arms, sway bar links and bushing, tierods, everything on the front basically. But I got the camber bolts and was wondering do u use the top hole or the bottom hole? My old dodge uses the bottom but I’m not sure with a lift. Thanks.

There is no camber adjustment on a '01 QX4. Only the toe-in can be adjusted for alignment.

When u put on the lift people suggest 14mm camber bolts be installed. It’s not factory it’s for adjustment once it’s lifted

Interesting... If you're referring to the strut mount bolts at the knuckle, then I could see using the top hole for this to rotate the knuckle in or out to affect the camber. I would definitely want a shop laser alignment done at the same time that camber adjustment bolt is installed. I haven't heard of this being done before now. Nissan's/Infiniti's design intent and structural integrity of that nonadjustable, but made adjustable, strut mount position at the knuckle would be compromised but I have no idea if it would be a serious issue. I would have the alignment checked first, without the modification, to see if the camber measurement is thrown out of spec after the lift. The more I think about this, the more I am inclined to say don't do it.

We've put aftermarket camber kits into a large cross section of Nissan products over the years, Md. I only recall one ever being problematic, and that one was the technician's fault. So by and large, I'd have to say they're fine when installed correctly. The rest of the front end has to be reasonably healthy, of course -- that's a different story.

I am literally at the tire shop now. Stayed up all night to get it done and drove strait here at 8am. Guy here doesn’t recommend them cause he says they always come lose. He’s gonna check it, seemed to drive fine and i just eye balled it. I’m like him on them. They only have about 3/4” that is the same diameter as the bolts and the rest of the shaft is like 5/16 or something. Hopefully doesn’t need em. Cause I’m gonna be beating this thing up on the trails and don’t need anything braking cause of weak contact points.

I found at https://parts-catalog.acdelco.com/catal ... search.php ACDelco has a 14mm single offset and a double offset camber adjuster product that are intended for our R50 models. I had no idea this was a thing. Good to know there is an option for camber adjustment if it's needed.

Locktite pretty much eliminates that.

I put in 2 camber bolts per strut, top and bottom holes in lower mount. I got more camber adjustment with 2 bolts than with 1 bolt.
