cam ? need help

ok guys i have found a set of hks ca18det cams.but they are 272's and was wondering if they would be to big to put in. i am going to be putting a gt2871r on at the first of the year.

and also if i do put this in are there anything else i need to do to get this big cams to work right.

please help

No they are not too big.

It all depends on what type of lift these cams have. If it's anything over 9mm, then Yes, they are too big because you will have to have your head and pistons modified to accept those camshafts.

Dang, you beat me to it.

As Dee said, you need to know what kind of lift they have. The duration isn't as big of a deal as the lift. Just as Dee said, if it's a high lift cam, you'll need to modify the head, maybe solid lifters, and possibly modifiy the pistons as well.

What 2871 series of turbo are you going to go with? I'm SERIOUSLY looking into that series..

What exhaust manifold?

ok hen whats the max you can go on the lift?

im with the gt2871r and a .64im going to try to use my factory mani. and if that want work i will get one made.
