Thank you.
On hold at the moment.
These engines are rare here, all the cars have been scrapped.
I recently got a hold of two more engines, now I have more backups if I start breaking these blocks for some reason.

Anymore updates on this? I know its nearly been a year.

Also what do you charge to adapt my Bell housing of my CD009 for my CA18?

Thanks
Tony

Awaiting crankshaft back from grinding.
One RB25 and one CD crank machined for collar:

Regarding your gearbox i would suggest finding someone locally to do it or buy an adapter.
Shipping would be horrible!

Tommey, what's up with the build!? Give us the juicy deets. You've been on the pioneer trail for a while with the 21 build. Excited to see how this turns out.

I decided to use the 150mm 4g63 rods and a custom piston.
If course there are some parts I need to buy, but the biggest issue is that my crankshaft is still MIA.

Oh nice sounds like you’re on the right track what stroke does that give you ??
Did you manage to. Over come the timing belt issue ?

We don’t have those engines in Australia so it’s interesting.
To see something different done .
I’ve got a 8port ca stroker with hydraulic cams making 622rwhp through an auto and nine inch diff .

92mm stroke and 21mm width rod bearing.
I researched and found some Honda belt that looked promising, but I also have a supplier that would make it any length required.

I don't think i have Posted the CD project on my Instagram, but you could follow me there to see some CA related machining from time to time.

Oh ok cool that’s with the CD crank I take it .
That sounds good that you can get one made.

I gave you a follow on instagram to have a look I’ve got some vids of my Ute on mine .
It sounds pretty wild.
I’m not too sure whether we got the rd Is that another Nissan diesel ?

Yes, offset ground CD crank. It has big journals so grinding them down and using a wider bearing nets lower bearing speed and higher load carrying capacity.

The RD is a diesel RB, pretty beefy block and I have one of those as a project for a customer too.
