CA18DET tach gage swap to 240SX question.

I searched all the forms and found very little info about swapping the tach from a CA18DET gage cluster to an S13.With what little I did find I was able to rip them apart and got ‘er did.

But,

What is this?Do I need this installed, the same way, to complete the swap over it to the S13?

I believe that box is the stupid little thing that goes "ding" if you go over 60mph or something. It is a terrible, evil contraption that will quickly drive you totally insane.

Haha, that person needs to be nowhere near your car then man! In japan there is some crazy-low speed limit on the highway, and the JDM cluster has a chime that lets you know when you are speeding "excessively." Our speed limits (especially in the south) rule, and so unless you want to go insane, I would remove that box.

Ever watch initial D? Remember whenever dude is hauling *** in the AE86 it always makes that "ding ding ding" noise? Yeah, that is EXACTLY what that box is.
