CA18DET Swap for sale with mods...and slight knock

I was using this motor for drifting and everything was working fine. I was on a bank and lost oil pressure and knock started to develop. As soon as I noticed it I quickly turned everything off and trailored it home. The motor was not started until I installed the turbo and did a quick check to see if that was the problem. At first it was so light I couldnt tell if it was turbo blown or tapping so I had to fix one to find out. Well it turned out to be knock so I replaced every rod bearing with ACL race series, the ones with extra oil clearance. Everything worked great and lifter tap started so as I was about to order all new lifters the knock came back. I figured no big deal, I got time so I'm just gonna build my dream project before teh kidz come in and ruin my dreams... So my impatience can be your gain. I will include ACL Main bearings with the swap so you can have parts needed to replace since a bearing replacement is in order.

Also I have an HKS SSQV (new style) that is freshly installed and not more than 200 miles on it and a GT28R that doesn't even have 100 on it. Those will be included IF AND ONLY IF they are bought very close to new cost since they are in fact babied and this car is only used for track purposes and I've only had a couple events on it. Since last rebuild I've just driven it around town under 50 mph doing about 3 oil changes per week to make sure everything came out clean. Great compression (160-160-160-158) and power felt great.

no offense meant by this..... but a motor that is knocking and needs work(bearings and lifters) is going to be a hard sell for a motor that you can get for 1200+shipping.

On the other hand. I must say I applaud your honesty and being a stand up guy and being honest about what is up with the motor.

I understand, but to retort, i could put Eleventy Billion dollars so long as I put OBO.. I understand prices are cheap for these motors but keep in mind I have spend a few hundred extra on clutch and flywheel in addition to having FMIC piping. Plus this is pre-wired and ready to drop in. So I would expect to get a little more than a stock, sat in storage without oil/coolant circulation CA.. I'm not trying to get rich or win on someone, just enough to start next project and not lose too much.

Since 2K OBO is too high to start and may steer people away, even though it's OBO, I'll lower it to 1800 OBO. Just remember it's OBO and if you're serious we can talk.
