First of all thanks to all involved in this thread. Very usefull information all over the place.

My issue turned out to be the simplest of them all. Due to the Dropping Resistor backlog in the US I ended up getting a used RX-7 one. The guy who sold it to me patched the cables to the plug from my old DR, so the harness remained unchanged. Since I had tried another DR I was positive this was going to solve all the issues but in the end it only solved the Rough Idle. The ECU was still overfueling, even when warm, so I was forced to remove the Fuel Pump Fuse to be able to turn it on, replug the fuse and then try again, until I was able to keep it on.

So rough idle solved but still cold (and warm) start problems + high revs on idle. Dug further into what was posted here and matched the symptoms to some info I found in SXOC.com, and after replacing the correct Engine Temp Sensor (not the gauge one, yeah dumb me), the cold start issue and the high revs on idle issues are both gone. I was even able to rev it happily up to 6,500rpm on 1 hard pull thru 1st, 2nd and 3rd, which I hadnt been able since all this started.

Tomorrow I'll put back in the Grade 6 sparkplugs, and test it all day to see how it behaves. So far so good.

Thanks to all again.

Well mine seems to keep getting worse. I pulled ECU codes today and go #12 (air flow meter circuit) and #43 (throttle sensor circuit). Strange tho, because my TPS is a brand new Beck Arnley unit from O'Reilly's less than 3 months old. Sucky thing is all my tools are at work, so i cant test anything till monday.

Thats crazy? Did you have any of those codes before? I'm having similar problems with my engine stumbling. After my wideband install I found out it was getting lean between shifts. I'm thinking it could be a tps problem. I will be so glad when we all figure this out

Anyone have the part number for the coolant temp sensor.....and does one for a ca18de pulsar work?

Nissan part #22630-51E02
Already on this same thread, hehe. Thats the one I asked for at the Nissan Agency, but I had to wait until monday since they only had 1 in the entire country (Panama) and it was at a different store, go figure. Good thing the part was the same for a Generic Japan made brand which I got for half the price ($13.xx)

dont mean to bring up an old thread but im having a similar problem. It idles fine, but under hard accel it breaks up and sputters under boost. 18-20in/Hg at idle. it ran fine earlier today today hitting 10psi, but just started acting up after bleeding the brakes? Also, the vacuum place on the back of the intake manifold that connects to the brake booster is a half crushed. so could that have something to do with it?
