I am from canada and I have a ca18det in a exa or a pulsar .

By now those are the spec of the engineRunning 450cc and z32 maf Stock t25 turbo at 14 psicustom clutch and axle

The engine is running good very strong. But I want more power so.I bought a t3-T4 turbo is good up to 325hp at the crank.

Does the engine will support it? And If it does does it's possible to do more on stock bottom-end.

I have a ca16de intake cam, ajustable cam sproket. And next a cometic head gasket.

Since the setup I seen alot is for about 250hp or 500 hp and more So i am not quite sure what the engine will still hold.

The main idea is to setup a very good power full engine on stock internal, piston rod, crank.

Hopefully I'll get my hand on hks cam some day.

Thanks a lot

Btw the oil pressure is perfect, the compression is about 150-152 on each cylinder, no oil burner or prestone.

hey, i am running a 50 Trim T3/T04E on a stock block CA18 now, and have no problems, just take the car to a dyno and have the car tunned for the different levels of boost, i take it you have afuel controller or tunned ecu if you running 440's and Z32 AFM, if not get a S'AFC or Emanage for cheap, you probably wouldnt be safe running more than about 14psi with those injectors, so have it tunned with a wideband on a dyno by someone who knows what theya re doing and you'll figure out what power you can can make/take easily,

my stock enigne has seen the occasional 20psi from the t3/t04e while tuning my boost controller - be VERY carefull

AFAIK, not too many have pushed a properly tuned, stock CA to its limits in the states to see how it does. The general concensus seems to be 300hp is pretty safe, maybe a little more.

Perfect I choose finaly all the parts for the upgrade and has soon has I make some change on the car I will post dyno sheet if I have the chance My first turbo setup will be around 300 hp with a good tuning if the motor still in good shape maybe try to go further.
