I beat the **** out of my turbo everyday at stock boost (spikes to 10) and I'm always careful to let it idle for at least a minute or two before I shut it down, and I usually wait until the engine is warmed up before I stomp it. Its been 4 months now, no turbo related problems yet.

ditto. tho usually if I've been driving slow the past minute or so I don't idle it more than the time it takes to put the sunshade up.

if you need a turbo timer to keep from being late (due to sitting in car), drive faster, or leave earlier
