well i'm guessing this won't pass smog correct?Since it's from Japan but anybody know any hooks?I heard that all the refs are laid off and i mean all california.Well get back at me ain't trying to get a headache.

No not smog legal. Won't pass just on the visual. You can't find a hook? If you know people you can find a guy through your friends I'm sure....

Also you don't need a ref unless your cars' been flagged. Otherwise just go find a normal station that'll hook it up.

Well so if they hook it up it'll pass?just not the visual?

Well it's $180 to pass it illegaly.Just if i get pulled over it's gonna suck maybe painting the intercooler black will make it less noticable right?

well yeah i'll probably do that just that the down pipe has a bolt missing and it has a turbo leak is that bad like very bad?The guy said i should go see a welder and get it welded.Anyways nobody here knows a hook or is that the cheapest because it's 2hrs away from where i live.

the visual pass is only for Refs. Normal "gas station" smoggers don't give a crap about the visual, it's just pass/no pass with them.

$180 is around the going rate for it.

if you get pulled over and popped, then yes your screwed. But as far as the state is concerned your car is smog legal. That's what matters anyways, screw the cops popping your hood. Just have two hood release cables and hide the real one under the dash and pull the fake one saying your hood release is broken. What can they do then...? That's what I have on my car
