Are there any members in here that are running the CA18DET AWD? I need the ECU pinouts, there are a few wires that I don't know where they go. If anyone can help me out that would be great.

My guess is they are the same as the RWD ones.....but thats my GUESS.....I can't see why they would be different.....but it would pay to be sure.

There's a couple of us that have FWD casr that are powered by the AWD CA18DET motor. But unfortunately, none of use the JDM stuff. Two of us use a standalone engine management and the other two are using CA16DE ecu's remapped by Jim Wolf Technology. The ecu for the AWD will be very close if not the same to that of the RWD units. You'll just have to download the S13 FSM to see computer and wiring information.

What are you trying to do? Is your harness cut and you're trying to splice something together? If you don't know nissan wiring, don't waste your time. Just get an S13 CA18DET harness and go from there.

or

i have a complete spare CA16DE wiring harness that clips right onto the CA18DET and to come up with the CA16DE ecu reprogrammed for DET is easy enough.

I am aware that the wiring is the same as the FWD and RWD. I have an AWD gearbox that I plan to make use of but there are 4 extra wires on the ECU. I was hoping someone was using an AWD gearbox CA18DET and had a wiring diagram of the ECU so I could find out what these 4 wires go to.

Let me know which plugs or wires you are looking for, I got a complete AWD harness and ecu, I can trace some of the wires.

Also, if you are interested in the AWD wiring harness, I can sell it to you.

GOOD LUCK,

The extra wires are pin numbers 13,14,15, and 113.

Rafi, aren't you using the SR20DET? The wiring is different correct? Also, I thought you sold your Pulsar, you still have it?

I do still have my PULSAR, and I am using a ca16de JWT ecu, but I have an extra AWD harness and ecu that I got off an AWD engine a while back.

I need to get the piston rings replaced but I haven't had the time to do it, as I am converting my Z32 to twinturbo and getting teh body repainted. I will try and get you the wiring tomorrow as It is at the shop and first thing after work tomorrow I will drop by there and get the info for you.

Wow.. what year roughly was that ? cause i remember the SSS Blurbird with the fully sick CA20 or L20.. just did not know that they ran an AWD blueturd.

It's kinda like finding out they made an AWD Mitsubishi Cordia too..

Here's what I know.

13: Exhaust Temperature Warning Lamp14: Radiator Fan 1 trigger15: Radiator Fan 2 trigger113: ABS Solenoid.

I got this wiring diagram back in 1993. This is translated information, and I expect this is accurate information.
