the store is called Northern Auto Parts, they have CA oil pumps available for $90 + shipping (he said it would take about 4 days to get here) and its a name brand like miller or something (dont remember)

i think he said they were located in Iowathe number is 800 831 0884

thats alot better then Kragen... they wanted $260... for a damn oil pump, and it was going to take 15 days for it to get to their store

anyone got a better place for new oil pumps?

maybe this could turn into a sticky... everyone post locations to find new, hard to find parts... or the places thayve found the best prices for new parts

pfft just order the CA18DE pump from a '88 Pulsar NX, you don't need to talk to any specialist.

Maybe they are going by the production dates. It makes sence since '88 was the last year the USDM Pulsar was available.

You can tell them '87 and that'll work fine.

and i takled to matt and steve @ courtesy nissan, and the 18DE oil pumps are 'on national backorder' so im stuck for awhile, but the ca mounts should be on their way

anyone know a place that has teh pump in stock now (like you ordered recently, or anyplace that usually has them?)

yeah.. well.. now i guess it will just give me more time to prep the rest of the car... maybe actually paint it ... with the paint i bought a month and something ago and other little stuff... like install subframe bushing spacers, and that helical LSD... and some other goodies.. and finish dissolving the sound deadening material residue so i can paint the sheet metal n the inside

The advance auto parts here in Kensington seems to think they can have one in 2 days to a week. Dont know about the quality...

Its a beck/arnley part #0280354

Its expensive as crap though.
