Ok I have my CA in and running everything seems good my question is is the stock oil pressure sending unit an on/off (pressure/no pressure) style unit or can I hook my gauge into the feed wire and have my oil pressure gauge work?

thanks

if ti is an elec gauge, i dont think so, its not accurate enough, if it is a mech one, you can get a "T" and fit it there.. if not get your elec sending unit and intall it on the T so you will have your ghetto warning light still working along with your gauge

The stock oil sending unit is just a pressure switch. It's normally closed, but when pressure is applied, the circut is open, which turns the light off. You'll need to get a 'T' and then run your stock sending unit and your sensor.
