well i need a FULL exhaust for my swap. I want the stuff brand new, not used. I already got screwed out of an eBay SR20 O2 Housing, hit steering column.. but anyway, here is some stuff i was looking at. tell me what you think. I bought my Intercooler from them and i feel pretty good about the CXRacing stuff.

Front pipes look good. But I am leery about cheap catbacks. Heard too many of them sound blatty.

thats what i've heard. i like the O2 and Downpipe also. O2 has the flange angled so not to hit the frame. as for Catback i'll check some stuff out, if nothings clears. i like this one. good price and looks nice

im kind of specptical as always with ebay, but i've read some pretty good reviews from other forums using eBay Turbo Timers. i mean for $35, i think i may try this, just to see.

I've got an eBay exhaust on my car, and I don't mind the sound. I'm just saving my $$ until I get a Dual N1.

Im very leary of ebay anything. I love my greddy DP, ER TP, and HKS Catback.......

last thing I would want is something that sounds ugly.

HOWEVER, for those who are starting new things in the CA swap. it would be worth having a write up on this and that....... that are OK ebay parts.

CXracing does do some decent work from what Ive seen. I trust them more than SSAC.....

PS anything electronic.......... ebay sounds like a bad choice. you can get a used greddy or HKS for about the same price might as well do that.

As bad as this sounds, I can't confirm what brand my exhaust is. All I know is that it says 'Spec-D Tuning' on the box.

It came with a tubular manifold, o2 housing, downpipe, and cat back.

The downpipe was DEFINITELY CA18 specific, as it did not work with my SR o2 housing, but it worked with the included housing, aside from the holes on the DP having to be elongated since they didn't bolt up perfectly.

The manifold quality is fine. I've put about 3k miles on it and it hasn't had an issue as far as I can tell, but it doesn't hold the turbo in the exact same place as the OEM log manifold, so you will be adjusting the fluid lines.

Exhaust...well, it's exhaust. Had a resonator and muffler, and everything lines up. No complaints there.

Small video for the exhaust note...with a metal band playing in the background, haha.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjEvh8jJtoQ&NR=1

The only other thing I've ever gotten for this car off eBay was the XS Power FMIC kit.

Overall, satisfied, but not pleased.

Piping....worst. Ever. Hotpipe was nowhere close to being right, and it was 2.5" instead of 3" like the other pipes, and therefore did not fit the hose couplers. I had to take it off, cut it and re-weld it 3 times, and it was not b/c of the cuts I made.

Intercooler bracketry sucked ***. No other way to put it.

I think the coldpipe was the only thing that was remotely spot on, but even then, the quality of the pipes was just awful. The only good thing about the whole kit was that it came with 3-ply silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps.

It does the job, but that's as far as it goes, and that was AFTER refabricating stuff and buying 3 hose couplers that fit.

i decided when the ebay seller "Just-intercoolers" lists another CXRacing O2 housing that i will purchase it. They have a 15 day return for w/e reason no questions blah blah blah so if it dont fit like i want it to..i'll get my $$ back. thats who i bought my S14 FMIC from and that fit almost 100% on my CA. I think i'll buy my whole exhaust from them, except the cat/test pipe.

AFSil80 was that video on 1/8 or 1/4 mile? what did you run btw? lol

It was 1/8 mile.

2.1 60'9.1 1/8 @ 79 mph

REALLY stiff HKS coilovers, 4 year old wore out Falken Azenis ST115's, and open diff.

BUT I BEAT THAT MUSTANG GT! I've only taken it down the 1/4 once, and that was with a garbage short shifter that came with my swap. It was missing a snap ring, so the shifter popped out at any random moment, so my 1/4 timeslips are waaaaaay off. I did pull a 100mph+ pass though.
