I just had 2 alpine mrp-450 amps installed with 2 alpine 12 type-R's. When the radio is off or turned down low the subs buzz. I called the stereo shop later after I picked the car up and they said that it is normal with the bose system. They said that the bose microphone creates that noise to cancel out road noise or cabin noise. I have had pretty nice stereo systems my whole life and have never come across this issue and it not be a ground loop problem or signal wire issue. Any thoughts or help would be great or even something to suggest to the shop so they can fix it. Thanks in advance.

I was told that it is the Active Noise Control (ANC). I have researched and haven't found any way to disable or disconnect it.

Unfortunately I don' recall coming across this issue, but perhaps one of our audiophiles will help out soon.

Disconnect whatever audio is connected to your amp -- Line Out Converter, I assume, with signal pulled from existing sub -- and see if the problem goes away. If you disconnect and still hear buzzing or humming, the problem is with your subs, amps or wiring.

Try to give us more details about the install so we can better help. Pics would be good too.
