Nissan Motor Co will offer employee pricing and discounted financing for Nissan and Infiniti vehicles in areas hit by Sandy through January 2. Nissan has 225 dealerships in the affected areas.
NEW VEHICLES FLOODED
Nissan will have to scrap 6,000 new cars and trucks, the most of any automaker, according to Travis Parman, Nissan spokesman.

This might sound really stupid and I realize the logistics would be tough, but they knew that storm was coming. Why didn't that get some of those vehicles out of there?

Really sad. We went to NOLA a few months after Katrina. Cars were in huge piles everywhere. That was the biggest mess I ever saw.

Infiniti was hit hard after the Tsunami...saw a pic with dozens of G37's either on fire or flooded.
