Car: 1995 240sx/se, 5 lug, no sunroof, no lsd

I would like to buy a 95-97 240sx, I was wondering if I should look for anything specific when checking out these cars, no experience with them. (selling my 96 eclipse gst- too many problems.) miles will be btwn 65-90k. I hear that they are very reliable. Is this true? Also, when I get it, I want it to run like new. What should I have done to it to make sure it's in PERFECT shape? (backflush transmission, engine flush?) sorry for the long post, but thanks for any help you guys could give.
