buying a 95 se

Hi I am new to this board I have posted once before about purchasing a 89240sx but that fell through. But now I have moved on and found a 95 240sx se and will hopefully be purchasing it on Tuesday, it has 101,000 miles and is black I know it has the 5 spoke wheals, sunroof and spoiler and it is a 5speed. But I was wondering what I should look out for when they drop it off at my house on Monday for a test-drive and also what other options did the se's come with.

Get the VIN # and run it through Carfax.com

How much is the asking price?

Change oil, plugs, wires, transmission oil/fluid, differential oil, brake fluid, clutch fluid, coolant.

Replace fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, and if you are feeling froggy, belts and timing chain.

have bushings checked specifically the strut rod bushings and rear subframe those were dead on mine

They are asking $4200 for it, is that a good deal?

i think i might beable to get them down to $4000 because the out side has a couple dings

That sounds like a nice deal. Find out if it has abs, lsd, or leather seats. Those are the options that SE's offered that I can remember.

It does not have leather seats but i think it has abs and i have no clue about the lsd

Im also looking into a 95 se. it doesnt have a sunroof or power locks so i guess it was the cheapes SE with no other options.

Anyways can anyone help me out on what to look for? im gonna go check it out today and i wanna know what to look for.

I had a carfax done and it turned out great. no rollbacks or anything fishy. It was originally titled as a rental car.

thats one of the reasons that attracted me to it. it only has 85k miles and the guy gave a legit reason for selling. he said his wife wanted an SUV so they had to sell that or a 99 altima.
