buttterfly vacuum

what hapens if i leave my vacuumlines of of the butterfly?living them open all the time does it hurt?

its debatable. but they're "designed" to help with low end torque by closing 4 of the 8 intake ports at low rpm (This increases the runner velocity because you're squeezing the air through a smaller hole creating more torque.) They open up all 8 ports when you increase the rpm and boost and require more flow. They work really well in N/A applications, but alot of people say they don't do anything with turbo cars. I removed my entire system, and my car feels fine to me (and anyone else who rides in it )
