I was changing out all the interior lights, into some hyper white LED's. Got to the first map light, in went the new bulb, perfect. As for the second one, my smart a** used a flat head to try and pull it out, cause those damn lights get extremely hot, and right as it pops out, my dome/map/side lights all go out. Wont turn on anyone. Everything else works perfectly fine. My question is now what??? Did I burn a fuse?? How do I fix it? Some help would greatly be appreciated.

Check the fuses in your fuse box.

Don't go to the dealership if it's a fuse problem.A box of fuses is like $1 at an auto store.

There is a fuse box under your trunk release / key fob area, There is a little handle thing. You just pop that out and you can see your fuses, check the cover to find out which it would apply to.

I haven't had to check for those lights so I don't know if they are in there or not.

If they aren't check the fuse box in the engine bay (I really doubt they'd be in there though) I'm pretty sure you know where that is

Im with vegan, it should be over your left shin when your in the drivers seat...

Thats a big no-no using a screwdriver to pry it out... why not just close the doors, and sit in the car for a minute while they cool down lol!

Or disconnect the battery when doing electrical work.

Thanks alot! I got it fixed. It was a burnt fuse. Went to autozone, got a few for $2. Placed it in, and all the lights went on. Again thanks alot.

Ok another problem.. The right side of the Map light only works by pressing it on, and pressing it off. The rest of the lights work with locking and unlocking the car. Is there a way to reset all the settings in the car. Meaning...Syn all the interior lights

... pretty sure there's no code that's going to be thrown for that...

1. Check to make sure you have the light switch flicked on to the "door" setting"2. Disconnect your battery for a bit and reconnect it back

Ya the car is usually reset after you disconnect the batter for a few minutes.

But I dissconnected the neg of battery and still no luck..Left it off for about 15mins, while I changed out the dome light and the plates..Oh and my door handle button still locks and unlocks the car but doesnt make the "chime" noise..kinda weird..but still having the problem with having to manually having to shut off and on the right side of the Map light...any clues??
