I just traded my 240sx in for a 2013 Juke. I installed the spoiler myself and had the windows tinted. I like the car, but hate those bug-eye parking lights on the hood! I don't know anybody that likes them. Why did Nissan do this to such a good vehicle?
My biggest issue is that the parking lights are so sparkling crystal, and big, and bubble-shaped that they cause glare while I'm driving during the day. Astronauts can probably see them from the space station! This drives me crazy on the highway. I thought about tinting the parking lights, but I discovered that will not pass inspection here in Virginia. In my opinion the glare is more of a safety issue than tinting, but I don't make the laws.
Has anyone else addressed this issue? Any solid solutions?
