If you can fit an r200 that would be tight! Good This is, the gear ratio from your diff is highly sought after from the z guys.

The s12 came with r200s on the Turbo and se models, so fitting one from one of those or a z31 isn't a problem... its just finding one around here...

small update. Got some cams and Springs! Now to start building the head. To make sure it's budget oriented, I sold the crank and Rods on ebay and used that money, and broke even.

got the head back from my buddy, he even tanked it for 10 minutes for me!
Same Day dove right in. Intake ports are near flawless which is probly why the head packs such a punch but exhaust needs some work.
Started right away. Lol

you can see the casting imperfections from where there is carbon left over. I have a lot of work ahead of me.

Good deal then, I'm going to start building mine soon too. Just saving for Mazworxs ARP main bolts and 1/2 head studs before I take it to the machine shop.

I actually am opting out of the 1/2 studs. I will see where the limit is before I upgrade but when I do there are stronger bolts that do not require machining.

oil port bypassed to outside of the head.

hg fits perfect, had one laying around from my b14 I'm not using.

Image
Exhaust ports shaped and hit with first scroll of sanding (80 grit)
now to finish up the exhaust and intake will be a breaze.... Seams like this part is the most tedious.

The oil will be supplied from my oil pressure sender (t into it) to the fitting in the head. I could run it straight from the oil sender to the relocation plate but I don't want a long line running from the sender to the plate AND The lines across the firewall to the vvl solenoids.
