Yep, the 10w1v2. I guess someone just forgot at the plant, it took me a while to figure out what was off about that one.

Thanks again Toby, always a pleasure.

I thought I had my Kenwood pricing at home, but I was mistaken. I'll have to check when I get to work tomorrow. Sorry I don't know the prices off the top of my head, I don't deal with Kenwood much anymore.

I have to say Toby, your interior inspired me the first day I saw it. I have wondered two things though, how much work was it to mold the HUD like that, and is that a custom roll cage or pre-made?

The HUD went pretty fast for me. I actually thought it was easier than I initially thought it was going to be. I really don't remember how much time I had into it...... probably about 5 hours or so.

The cage is a 6 point Cusco that is powder coated black. There is also a 3 point welded in between the rear towers.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you mold it?And how is the visibility with the 6 point?

The usual super glue, Kitty Hair, bondo, primer, texture paint and then a finish color.

The 6 pt. blocks nothing! You have no idea it's even there when driving.

The 406's would run you $69 shipped. However, I do not stock Alpine speakers. So I wouldn't have them until I placed another big Alpine order.

I do stock the Boston Acoustic S75's though. They would run you $75 shipped and are a little nicer than the Alpine 406's.

Thanks,

Toby

Sorry, I am no longer a Kenwood dealer. I really only stock the Alpine double DIN's now. You would be looking at the W505 if you went with an Alpine.

http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-e...-W505 Nico Price = $859 Shipped

Hey Broadfield. I'm looking for recommendation here, as I'm pretty clueless with car audio. I'm not looking to win audio competitions, just something that'll sound real nice on the drive to work. I definitely want iPod control on it though, as skipping songs is a real PITA on an iTouch. Whether it charges the iPod or not is of no consequence to me. I got about 150-300 to spend. Also looking at a Viper 5900 alarm, but I'm not sure if it'd be overkill for me (is overkill possible on an alarm system?). I know it has a remote start with it, but can you even install remote starters on a manual car?

The biggest thing I'd be worried about is whether I can even install this stuff myself. My original stereo sub and amp got stolen so all the wires have been cut. So I don't know. LMK Toby

I have a question. Do you carry any audio auxiliary, PAC type products that would work with an Infiniti M45, 2003/2004?

I am looking to stay with the stock stereo and controls but I am looking for a device I can plug into either the SAT or Tape connectors to provide me with Auxiliary connectors?

Do you carry equipment like this?

Thanks

If you lock the drivers door with the plunger or the key cylinder, does it lock the passenger door? If so, then you have power locks to some degree. Get back to me on that one then I will get you a price on what you will need.

Thanks,

Toby

I don't have any options for a M45 that old. If it was a newer one then it wouldn't be a problem. Sorry man!

Broad, would you have anything for a Q45 from that time? It would have the same kind of unit installed.

Thanks for the quick response.

Sorry Sazar, Nissans and Infinitys are tough to work with as far as interfacing goes. I got nothing.

I'm looking into the Alpine IDA-x200 or x100 do you have any experience with them or carry them? It has a usb port I was thinking of running a external hard drive with all my music just not sure how well that will work out. Any advice?

I stock the 100 but not the 200. The 200 is far inferior to the 100, so I never sell them. The iPod radios are all about sacrificing CD playback with the added convenience of better iPod control over the standard models. However, anything below the 100 doesn't really have much better control than a standard model. The 100 also has a 24bit D/A converter...... so it will get your MP3 files to sound closer to CD quality. Of course any USB device is easier to control with the 100. It displays more info at one time, making it easier to navigate through your files.

I sell a load of these with no complaints. It is what I use in my S13 and what my salesman has in his Scion. It is a killer unit!

Give me a shout if you want some pricing. I do have it on sale under Alpine HU's in my sig.

The 1002 would run you $159 shipped. I include the relay and wiring to interface with your OEM door locks. I will also include vehicle wiring info if you want to install it yourself.

Thanks,

Toby

I can, but shipping is a *****. And there isn't much mark up on pre-fab enclosures. So it would probably be cheaper to get it locally. How much have you been quoted for one? Also, was it a pre-fab or a custom built?
