ok so here's yet another exhaust comparison. i have a suspicion of who's gonna come out on top but wanted to see everyone's opinions anyways.

stillen exhaust on a B15http://youtube.com/watch?v=h2nQFo4Va_U

brm exhaust (14" resonator) on s13 240sx http://youtube.com/watch?v=9FpXeE1ns94

brm exhaust (22" resonator)http://youtube.com/watch?v=akQuJBCSetY

p.s. BRM is available already, stillen will be out soon.

Didn't like the sound of the stillen on the Spev... had a bit of resonance during back pressure.

The 14" resonated BRM exhaust sounded good.

The 22" resonated BRM exhaust sounded like a WRX boxer engine to me.

I would say the 14" resonated BRM exhaust sounded best out of the 3.

Here's an interior clip of my BRM... not very good and an SR instead of a QR, but it might be helpful.

14in res here as well.

Note: I also have a CAI.

I'll try to get an exterior shot sometime this week. It's an Injen CAI, sounds really the same as AEM or anything else with a cone filter.

I plan on adding a header and high flow cat when I've got some cash to spare here in the next 6 months or so. A high flow cat alone would only add a couple hp, but combined with a header and a good catback you're looking at 15-20whp usually or an SR or QR, though the 07+ may be different.

It really rumbles in the lower revs, then just creates a bass note for the intake noise in the mid and upper range, then barks on a good quick-shift at 3500+rpm. Cruising, and this is most noticeable through parking decks, I tend to get a little bit of reverb and some people have said it's slightly WRX/boxer engine sounding. Personally, I love the way boxers sound, so I'm just fine with that sort of bassy grumble.

Anyway, like I said, I'll try to get a video. It may just be a startup and a few revs in neutral, but if I can I'll get an under-load clip. In neutral you don't get the full effect.

I'd go with BRM.

i'm pretty sure i'm going with the BRM, i just really wish someone had a video or sound clip of the exhaust on a b16 or even a b15 so i had something closer to compare to. greg said that he believes kalok has some videos but when i looked him up he doesn't have any contact info. anyone know how to get in touch with him? anyone know anyone who's put this on their b16 yet?
