I'd hazard a guess that Manning is probably one of the only long-career QB's whose stats are better in those 2 areas.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

I suppose Mr. Favre could consider this for a post football job, though based on this season, he might need to work on his "ball handling" skills....

I guess sometimes you just need to stick with your old hurt QB. The looked totally different this game though. I mean where did Berrian come from? Favre has thrown to him like 3 times this year and this game he was trying to hit in like every play. He was also throwing the ball to Lewis and that white guy. I don't know why he hasn't been playing like this since game one. I kept saying I swear he threw the ball to more guys than Rice last year but he seemed not to throw to anyone without Rice. I'm just glad he finally found out he has other recievers...I hope Chilly still gets fired though...That was all Favre at the end of the game...he was calling those plays.

Yep. I don't see that record being broken anytime soon.

Manning is now 2nd, and I think he's nearly 90 games behind. That's, what, 5 more seasons - starting every game, including a couple playoff appearances?

Manning will be 40 in 5 years, a tad younger than Pevre er..Favre was at the beginning of this season. If the Colts continue to play as well as they have over the last decade (making the playoffs pretty much every year), and Manning stays healthy, I think he has a shot. I wouldn;t mind seeing him break that record.

I would love to see Manning hit 300+, but its no easy task. QB's are dropping like flies in this league. These young players are bigger, stronger, faster and the hits are serious. Like said, I would love to see Manning get to that 300 mark, but I'd bet no on it. Its hard to stay healthy

^ Bingo.

The NFL of the future looks WAY different.

Look at the crop of stud QB's coming out of college - with the exception of the kid from Oregon, a lot of them are HUGE. Two come to mind (Stanford and Arizona) at 6'4", 250 lbs. The day of the 5'10" 190 lb QB is past, and even tho Manning is "big" compared to his rookie class, he's not mobile enough.

NFL 2030 will have 4.3-sec QB's who are 6'6", 270 lbs, who aren't afraid of doling out a hit. Linemen are getting bigger, sure - but I think we're seeing them reach "critical mass" around 6'5", 350.

Evidently you are not among the few million heterosexual men who would like to see her nude. :slap: She's very attractive.

I don’t need to see every attractive woman in the nude. I’m above that, so that’s why I said what I said. If you could see my wife you’d understand. :dblthumb:

Your ex-wife verified me being “straight” & long as I fcuk'ed her doggy style on the hood of your car while she was 7months pregnant with your first born.

Now, the next time you question another mans sexuality over the internet, think long and hard before doing so. Consider yourself owned…Mr.Admin!

Now what do you have to say? How do you feel? Are you mad? Are you going to ban me now? :bigfu:

Why? Does your wife like to show her pen15? :chuckle:

Seriously, being married has nothing to do with a man's desire to view other women nude. It's not a question of being "above" anything, Its simply a personal choice. And unlike you, there are millions of men, including happily married ones, who are not repressed and enjoy looking at the female body.

Adios, Upstar. Anyway, the Favre weenie story is getting more interesting, and Roger Goodell is doing it. Sterger's lawyers threatened to file charges against Favre and the NFL for sexual harrassment if Goodell does not punish Favre. In NJ, the statute of limitations for filing sexual harrassment charges is 2 years, which happens to be next week (12/28). Goodell announced he has delayed his decision about Favre until after Xmas, to perhaps after 12/28, after the statute of limitations expires. Goodell appears to be playing an interesting game of brinkmanship with Sterger to see if she'll follow thru with her threat.

So, Favre got docked $50,000 for non cooperation in the investigation, but Goodell decided he broke no rules. With a base salary of $16,000,000, it appeared to be a slap on the wrist.

I think Goodell's fine was ridiculous, (the equivalent of 5 minutes playing time in one game)but not the whole thing.

Sexual harassment in the workplace is a serious matter.

Disagreed.

Here's why:

As part of my 9-to-5, I investigate SH claims, as well as many other EEOC complaints. ALL have specific criteria that must be met before one can prevail in claiming SH (or some other such complaint). This case, based on what we know thus far, doesn't meet those criteria.

One is that it has to be pervasive and continuous. This dictates that the harassed must at least convey that the attention is unwanted. Another is that it has to interfere with, or prevent, the person from doing their job. Proximity is a HUGE factor here, and there was none. Another criteria: the hierarchy... what's the harasser's role in relation to the claimant? A position of authority? A peer? An unrelated "other employee"?

Above all that, a few questions remain: Why a 2-year delay to complain? If you were THAT offended, you'd have called the Jets front office STAT. Why was there no "thanks but no thanks"? How much did she encourage the behavior? And most damning of all, why did he have her personal cell number? Her attorney claims that she gave it to him to "conduct an interview". Bulls***. That's what employer-issued phones are for.

While I think Brett was out of line as a representative of the NFL, and above all, as a married man, this "lawsuit" is a joke, and Ms. Sterger needs to GTFO. For someone who wouldn't exist in the public eye but for her appearance, and whose employment is owed to her appearance, she might want to reconsider her tactics. Gold-digging, fake-tittied, no-talent clown.

Makes sense. But I'm not sure I agree about her being a gold digger. It doesn't sound like she went after Pevre. She said she rebuffed all his passes, she never filed any suits, I'm unaware of her making any personal money demands from the Jets or Favre,. And If I'm not mistaken she did not court the press, the press came after her after Deadspin broke the story.
