Breather Filter...?

So where's the hose you take off from the Versa.Can't find it.

You don't need one because it goes through the intake, and it's already filtered. Waste of money my $.02

^^^that was my thought. I just checked to see where the thing is and i found it, but it's good so yeah i suppose if you dont want to filter it through the intake you can go for this, but same deal i suppose. haha thx, Red.

You do realize why it is done though right? The right way to do it though is to put a catch can with a filter on it.

What is the Valve Cover? The cover for the top of the head. What is in the head? Oil. Oil gets into that hose, and gets sucked up into the intake and leaves oil deposits all over.

You actually will save money in the long run by running a catch can off of your valve cover breather, and putting a small filter on the catch can, and where the other end of the breather hose once was on your intake.

Yeah I know all of that already and it seems beneficial, but unfortunately there isn't a catch can for the versa. I doubt the universal ones will fit without a problem.

the only thing that makes a catch can car specific is a mounting bracket. All you would have to do is make a mounting bracket. It's a very good idea, especially on a newer car and motor.

You just have to be creative. Here is a sick catch can mount on an EG. NOTICE how the lines and everything are mounted.

wow man that is pretty sicknasty right there.hmm so what do you think the first step to be because I can look into getting just a catch can that may fit close to there and then maybe get some sort of mount made and we can go from there?

I found one on the JEGS web site, it comes with can, filter, and mounting bracket but it is like 72 bucks
